Ciel was nearly melting in his seat over the taste of pie before he snapped up in his seat at their arrival, pulling the fork from his lips and setting it on the plate. “I’m glad you’re here.” He said politely, “I was hoping you could help out with Lizzy’s…birthday preparations. I’d also appreciate it if you had Grell…allow Sebastian to do his job and not pester him. If he was so bothered, I guarantee that his duties wouldn’t be preformed so well.”

((I’m sorry, I just don’t feel comfortable RPing Madame Red. I’ll be happy to do Grell, though.))

“A-ah! Yes…” the timid burnette butler squeaked out loudly.

The raven-haired butler smiled warmly at Ciel and set the sliced pie in front of Madame Red. He stood behind Ciel after he poured Angelina some tea, and listened to their conversation about Elizabeth’s birthday. He’d have to get cooking if they were going to celebrate.

((Ahh, it’s fine. :3 I probably won’t get it right either, but I’ll try if/when needed XD))

After talking about what was going to happen, Ciel looked up at his butler. Madame Red would take care of the decorations with Grell and Mei Rin, and it wouldn’t be necessary to call Lizzy because he already knew she would be arriving on her own. It was only a matter of time. “Sebastian, you can take care of anything else you feel needs to be taken care of. I’ll provide anything needed to be taken care of and she should be here by dinner-time.” He stood up. “I think we have everything set up here, then. I’ll go start taking care of some of the preparations.”

Madame Red nodded. She thought it was adorable what Ciel was doing. “Come along, Grell. You’ll know what to do.” Standing up, she strode out of the room, taking Grell and Mei Rin with her.

“My lord, what if the rest of her family comes?” he asked nervously. If they did come, he’d have to prepare extensively. The Middleford family had high expectations for the Phantomhive manor, and he wanted it to be at its peak erfection.

“I have no doubt of your abilities, Sebastian.” He said, smirking lightly over at his butler. “Do whatever you need to to make it fulfill what you believe are the appropriate standards. You did manage to make an inhumanly exceptional pie.” He couldn’t help but take another bite and smiling lightly to himself. “I have no doubt everything will fall into place.” He had full trust in his butler, his aunt, and the others.

“Yes, my lord. I’m glad you liked it.” He strode outside to where the others were waiting. “Now, let’s divide the teamwork. Madame Red, Grell, I’ll have you take care of the decor, and Mei-Rin and I will take care of the dinner. Alright? Let’s begin.” he said crisply. He walked into the kitchen with the maid, and started to prepare.

Time went by smoothly and the manor was finally worthy for a party by the time evening rolled around. All that was missing was Elizabeth. Ciel smiled lightly. “Looks like everything is ready.” His servants nodded, ecstatic to see him smile and Ciel retired to his room to get ready for when she arrived.

Sebastian silently followed Ciel and shut the door behind him. “My lord, let me help you.”, he softly proclaimed as he helped Ciel dress more appealing for the party. The butler finished and opened the door for Ciel. “I hope you enjoy the night, Bocchan.”, he whispered in his ear as he passed by.
