((Guess it’s my turn to be awkward!! >:D))
He sighed. His butler was right. He couldn’t be worrying about those things if he wanted Lizzy to be happy. He had to try and think like her. Concentrating on the subject, he looked out the window, trying to think of what she would like….
“Why should I put a smile on?” The young master sighed, stepping away from his butler in frustration and folding his arms. “I don’t want to dance with her! I don’t want to dance at all! Agh.” Frustrated emotions swirled in his skull like angry bees. “I see no…no purpose in it! I’m going to make myself look ridiculous reguardless!”
“Bocchan,” he said with a frown, “If you’re not going to smile, you’ll make her unhappy. This is Lady Elizabeth’s birthday, and you’re her…fiance. At the very least fake it if you have to.” Kissing his forehead, he murmured, “And you have the pie I made to look foward to.”The boy huffed in slightly desperation, knowing he couldn’t get himself out of it, and blushed lightly at the kiss. Fine. But I won’t be smiling because of her. He thought, grumbling slightly at how inconveniencing it was. Taking a breath, he calmed his thoughts, looked down at his feet before looking up at Sebastian with as charming a smile he could manage, which actually turned out to be more charming than he could’ve ever expected, which wasn’t much. “Let’s try this again..” He sighed.
“Adorable,” the butler simply replied. “Let’s try it again.” They began dancing and Ciel was a tad bit better. “…Yes, yes…no, this way, sir…perfect.” Once they finished, he headed out the door to get the apple pie he made. Oh, won’t he be happy for this! he thought. Sebastian grabbed the tea and pie, and began rolling it to where Ciel was. When he arrived, he flashed a grin when he saw Ciel’s eye light up.He couldn’t help but smile again, but then stopped and touched his cheeks. It ached. Why didn’t he smile more often so things like that wouldn’t happen? He eyed the pie and tea. His work was finally paying off. Well, it did before, and the reason he was smiling was because he was with Sebastian, but he’d never say that. “Lovely…” He murmured quietly
As he smiled, a large bang indicated that the front door just closed. “My lord, I believe Madame Red is here. Would you like for me to bring her up here so you won’t have to move?”, he inquired. Since the snacks were up here, it would also give him some convienence so that he wouldn’t have to move everything.
“Yes, please.” Ciel sighed, anxious before he took a bite of his pie and just sat there in shock. “This…” It was fabulous. Unbelievable. He’d never would’ve thought that something could just taste so good. How…did he even manage it? He took another bite and savored the taste and wanted to melt. “Mmmm…”
“Madame Red, welcome.” he bowed slightly at the red-soaked woman and her butler. “If you would be so kind as to follow me this way…”
“Oh, Sebastian! Grell be more like him.” Angelina hissed with an evil smile. Sebastian sighed and opened the door to Ciel’s office. “Please take a seat, I’ll get you some pie momentarily…” he said crisply.
Ciel was nearly melting in his seat over the taste of pie before he snapped up in his seat at their arrival, pulling the fork from his lips and setting it on the plate. “I’m glad you’re here.” He said politely, “I was hoping you could help out with Lizzy’s…birthday preparations. I’d also appreciate it if you had Grell…allow Sebastian to do his job and not pester him. If he was so bothered, I guarantee that his duties wouldn’t be preformed so well.”
((I’m sorry, I just don’t feel comfortable RPing Madame Red. I’ll be happy to do Grell, though.))“A-ah! Yes…” the timid burnette butler squeaked out loudly.
The raven-haired butler smiled warmly at Ciel and set the sliced pie in front of Madame Red. He stood behind Ciel after he poured Angelina some tea, and listened to their conversation about Elizabeth’s birthday. He’d have to get cooking if they were going to celebrate.
((Ahh, it’s fine. :3 I probably won’t get it right either, but I’ll try if/when needed XD))
After talking about what was going to happen, Ciel looked up at his butler. Madame Red would take care of the decorations with Grell and Mei Rin, and it wouldn’t be necessary to call Lizzy because he already knew she would be arriving on her own. It was only a matter of time. “Sebastian, you can take care of anything else you feel needs to be taken care of. I’ll provide anything needed to be taken care of and she should be here by dinner-time.” He stood up. “I think we have everything set up here, then. I’ll go start taking care of some of the preparations.”
Madame Red nodded. She thought it was adorable what Ciel was doing. “Come along, Grell. You’ll know what to do.” Standing up, she strode out of the room, taking Grell and Mei Rin with her.
“My lord, what if the rest of her family comes?” he asked nervously. If they did come, he’d have to prepare extensively. The Middleford family had high expectations for the Phantomhive manor, and he wanted it to be at its peak erfection.
